This test provides an assessment of the health of sex hormones and thyroid hormones, as well as cardiac markers that change as we age.
Estrogen, testosterone, and progesterone are the three dominant sex hormones in both men and women, providing information on fertility status, mood, and body composition.
TSH, fT3, and fT4 are thyroid hormones, providing information on the body’s metabolism, giving insight into issues regarding weight, energy, digestion, and other symptoms.
Triglycerides and total cholesterol are the markers included in a basic lipid panel providing a cardiac risk assessment.
The Pg/E2 ratio, calculated in the test report, provides information on hormone balance.
